  • “PIRR”, “us”, “we”, or “our” refers to the owner and operator of the Site.

  • “Personal data” refers to data, whether true or not, about a customer who can be identified: (a) from that data or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access. 5. Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)

The Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data in Singapore. It applies to personal data stored in both electronic and non-electronic formats. It generally does not apply to:

  • Any individual acting on a personal or domestic basis.
  • Any individual acting in their capacity as an employee with an organisation.
  • Any public agency in relation to the collection, use or disclosure of personal data.
  • Business contact information such as an individual’s name, position or title, business telephone number, business address, business email, business fax number and similar information.

It’s important to note that as PIRR primarily serves other businesses rather than direct individuals, specific provisions of the PDPA may not apply to our operations. Nonetheless, we remain committed to upholding best practices and safeguarding personal data in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

6. Your Rights

You can access, update, and correct your personal data. You may also request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain exceptions provided by law.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PIRR, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to any data breach or unauthorised access to personal data resulting from your use of the Site or any violation of this Privacy Policy. You further agree to cooperate fully in defence of any such claims and waive any right to assert any defence based on lack of personal jurisdiction, venue, or inconvenient forum.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PIRR, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or licensors be liable to you or any third party for any damages arising out of or in connection with a data breach or unauthorised access to personal data, including but not limited to incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, even if PIRR has been advised of the possibility of such damages. PIRR’s total liability for any and all claims arising out of or related to a data breach or unauthorised access to personal data shall not exceed the total amount paid by you, if any, for the use of the Site. These limitations shall apply regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, and whether such damages are foreseeable or unforeseeable.

10. Changes to this Agreement

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
