A Symbol to Celebrate and Commemorate

TheĀ Graduating Class of 2017 logo was designed for the Office of Advancement, Singapore Management University (SMU). The logo is a wordmark where the name is stylised to form the logo. One can notice graduates tossing their graduate caps in celebration for their big day! The logo was consistently used in the marketing collaterals and memorabilia of Graduation Class Gift (GCG) 2017. The GCG is an annual event that brings together the graduating cohort to raise funds for a meaningful cause. The logo servedĀ as a mark that unified and thematised the collaterals created for the different marketing campaigns.

THE BRAND STORY

Graduation is a time of completion. It is also a time of celebration of achievement and a beginning for the new graduate. Toss that graduate cap! It marks the finish of a chapter in the graduate’s life.
